2015 Off-season upgrades & maintenance

Rating: 5.00/5 (3 Votes)

Other than the annual antifoul which we know we are going to do every year, all the rest really all started with a radio. Last year we lost our bluetooth UEBoom speaker overboard in the Sydney Bluewater which begged the question, wouldn't it be good if we had a Bluetooth Stereo....

Either way our great friends at Northshore Marine Group have finished work on the prodder and it is now attached to the boat. This is another project ticked off our wishlist and we will now set about acquiring some new (or used) asymmetrical spinnakers to wrap around the fore stay.

Floor painting & antislip

Rating: 0/5 (0 Votes)

After a good scrub the inside of the boat was not looking clean, with age there were quite a few scrapes, cracks and chipped paint. It turns out anti-slip paint is a bugger to clean.
